Training

Subtext offers training in organisational development, leadership, facilitating change, community development, evaluation and strengths-based approaches to work practice.

Subtext facilitator Linda Ray offers the following courses through Lighthouse Resources (a training and consulting organisation for the human services sector):

Introduction to a strengths approach
Implementing strengths-based practices within organisations
Leading and facilitating change within organisations
Asset-based community development
A Strengths Approach to Evaluation

We also offer tailored training for individual clients.

Recent examples of our work:

National Association for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect (NAPCAN) – customised training to support the implementation of a strengths-based approach in their Play a Part Project, a project aimed at building child-friendly communities.

Mission Australia – customised training to support project workers in their Inala to Goodna Communities for Children initiative. Included training in evaluation methods and Asset Based Community Development (including asset mapping and partnership mapping).
