Linda Ray

Linda is an experienced organisational change consultant, social researcher, evaluator, trainer, and policy worker. For the past 15 years, Linda has worked as a consultant to government agencies, non-government organisations, small businesses, and individuals. She has also owned and operated three small businesses, including a retail outlet, a health practice, and the consultancy Subtext.

Linda is a trained social worker who has worked in a range of sectors such as youth, child protection, family support, housing, domestic violence, community development, and disability. She has worked as a lecturer and tutor in social work (University of Queensland), social sciences (Queensland University of Technology), and community services (TAFE).

Linda’s work is shaped by post structural ideas, particularly strengths-based, solution-focused, and appreciative inquiry approaches to practice. Her qualifications include:

  • Master of Social Administration (University of Queensland)
  • Bachelor of Social Work (University of Queensland)
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessing.

Linda is also an endorsed provider of Twin Star, a solution-focused approach to improving the psychosocial environment of the workplace, developed by Ben Furman and Tapani Ahola.
